This complex process allows you to choose from hundreds of patterns to be transferred to any two- or three-dimensional object which will not be harmed by being submersed in water, and will not absorb water, substrates such as plastic, metal, fiberglass, hard woods and even bone. The applications are endless! Examples of images you can apply include various varieties of camouflage, carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, granite, marble, animal prints, burl wood, and many more. Give us a shout if you need something done and we can talk about it. If we can't do it, we'll tell you rather than take on something I know we aren't tooled up for. We are a small company, but quality and customer satisfaction is our goal. We have a one year Craftsmanship warranty on all our Hydrographic items sold or performed on your item. Items subjected to abuse or mishandling will void the warranty. In respect to turn around time, any item shipped to us we start from the time it gets to us to the time we ship it out the door.

Step 1: Film Selection
From our patterns page browes our many differnt patterns of Camo, Metals, Woods, Stone, Animal print as well as Carbon Fibers and Illusions and choose a pattern best suited for your item.
Step 2: Base Painting
If necessary, the objects to be printed will be base-painted in an appropriate color (for instance, brown would be used for parts which will be printed in a wood grain image). In some cases, sand blasting may be necessary in order to provide the very best surface for a lasting and durable finish. If sand blasting is needed there is an extra charge for sand blasting.
Step 3: Preparing the film for transfer
The printing film is laid onto the water surface of the dipping unit. The carrier substance on which the pattern is printed dissolves while the pattern itself remains floating on the water.
Step 4: Activation
The floating image is treated with a special activating liquid which dissolves the components in the pattern's colors without affecting its structure and appearance.
Step 5: Transfer
The item is immersed in the water through the floating layer of liquefied pattern. The pressure of the water will cause the pattern to smooth itself evenly around the object in all places and adhere to the basecoat. The end result is the part completely covered in the pattern of your choice.
Step 6: Washing and Drying
The printed parts are washed to remove any residue of the printing film and are allowed to dry.
Step 7: Clear Coating
After undergoing an inspection for quality control, the printed objects are clear coated if desired to protect the printed surface. Anything from a very high gloss to a completely matte clear coat can be applied.
